Camille's was terrible. The staff was not helpful in any way when asked about various dishes. Their drink selection was sparse. When our food finally arrived it was of the lowest quality. Fries were undercooked and void of all flavour. The beef taco was a mushy mass of gross meat with no distinguished texture or taste. The potlicker burger was ok, but still a little too sweet. The poutine again, like the fries, was lacking in flavour.At least when we returned the taco to the kitchen they did not charge us for the dish. That earned them the single star.Perhaps on a day when more fish is available Camille's might be worth a visit. Otherwise, steer clear.

Great place for locals & visitors! Staff is fun & friendly. Food is great, atmosphere is cozy. They have some of the best coffee! Lisa (the owner) her desserts are all homemade & over the top delicious!!!!

Very hospitable. My soup was cold, my hubby eggs were supposed to be over easy to dip but we're well done. But really good selection and friendly

What an awesome restaurant! We're moving to St. Joseph's Island at the end of June and this is definitely going to be our favourite place to go when we eat out! Thanks for your wonderful meals and terrific service!

We had to use the restroom so we stopped by and bought a couple muffins and drinks . Will definitely be back we enjoyed our muffins and drinks.

We have been there several times and they always are exceptional. Between the service and the food; you want for nothing more. Definitely a must have on the Island!

Waited an hour after ordering for a veggie wrap and sandwich, having worked in a restaurant I know how things can happen. However our server (older lady) never came to inform us if the added wait and never came to quality check our meal when it came. We had to flag her down and ask if we were forgotten at there was only 4 other tables in at the time. She then said it would be right out which it was 10 minutes later. The food was great and would have been reviewed as such if we had received better service. The only plus was the young girl in there who was du king in and out of helping the cook who saw our displeasure and asked about our meals. Wouldn't recommend the food isn't worth an hour wait with better options near the water.

Quiet and friendly restaurant with a wide variety of choices and good food

Burger was beautiful homeade buns local beef lots of bacon.Soup was not bad. Server could have tried a little harder. Overall great job, best burger I've had on the island.

Waited for 45 minutes for lunch. Fries not cooked. Waitress slow and doesn't smile much. Tables left dirty with used dishes for over an hour. Terrible!

Waited over an hr for 3 dishes. The table next to us has waited even longer for soup and a wrap???

If you don't mind waiting a long time to get your food this is the place. My eggs benedict was wonderful. 14 bucks a little pricy. Don't go if you're in a hurry.

Large portions, phenomenal cinnamon rolls (both the regular and blueberry), and several creative dishes you can't find anywhere else. Liked the taco, and the biscuits and gravy were huge and creamy. 10/5 definitely recommend.

Food was really good. Service was really good... but the cafe was in need of a real good cleaning. Floors were dirty and needed to be scrubbed so did the windows and walls. Bathrooms were in need of a good cleaning also. Would do take out if I ever go back.

Tucked away in Richard's Landing, this is a charming little restaurant. The service is great, friendly, and makes you feel welcome. The food was great as well -- the fish is made with a traditional shore lunch style coating, and the French toast is beautifully thick. If you're in town and hungry, go.

From the moment we walked in the door, to the second it swung behind us on the way out, my fiance and I were nothing short of absolutely blown away. Our server Steve was an absolute savant, handling orders from all tables with style, grace, and great conversation. The selection of food was robust and the quality of food was hands down second to none. From locally sourced artisnal goods to house baked breads snd desserts, everything in Camilles is done with passion and love for food. My fiance was in ultimate bliss, being gluten intolerant and having become so use to being told she cant eat a majority of menus where we venture, she was thrilled to find out that from top to bottom ,this menu caters to those with gluten issues. 10 out of 10 . Today we became regulars for life.
